Project 2: Construction Detail and Specification
This second assignment emphasizes on proposing details for certain sections of a building, both structural and architectural detailing.
To develop an understanding of the structural elements in construction and its application in the construction industry.

The task given was to find and analyse the floor plan and section plan on the construction of a 2-storey or 3-storey residential building and select two construction detail that portrays the specialty of the house and design.

The building that I have chosen is the House in Byoubugaura by Takeshi Hosaka located at Yokohama, Japan.
​
This house shows two special features that are:
1) Spiral stairs
2) Aluminium sliding doors with sidewall mounted sliding door
​
A2 presentation sheet in a clear cover containing the following:
1. Floor Plan
2. Section
3. Two (2) construction details of selected building elements
4. The drawings need to be scaled (1:50 or suitable scale) and manually illustrated.
5. Building specifications with annotations
